Think of adaptive as being able to change with the atmosphere. HD15 earplugs contain circuitry that automatically adapts as sound levels change. When sound levels are safe, hearing is natural-as if nothing is in the ears. As the sound pressure level (SPL) increases, the circuitry gradually adjusts to protect from loud noises. Insertion Instructions: Sound quality and noise isolation depend on a good ear tip seal. Assorted ear tips are included. Carefully insert the earplug while pulling up and out on the back of the ear. Twist and push gently until the ear tip seals in the ear canal. If using 3 flange ear tips, moistening eases insertion. Roll down or compress foam ear tips before inserting. Hold the earplug in place for about 5 seconds while the foam expands to create a tight seal in the ear canal. Remove the device with a slow twisting motion. Care Instructions: Over time ear tips may lose their elasticity. For best performance, replace 3 flange ear tips every 3-6 months. Replace foam ear tips regularly. HD15 uses a special filter to smooth the frequency response and prevent earwax from entering the earphone. The filter is located at the end of the earplug and is visible when the ear tip is removed. Change the filter if loudness decreases or the sound quality declines.
